Outreach

Summit has made a commitment to working with single mother families in the Weinland Park neighborhood just south of us. For those of you not familiar with Weinland Park, it is one of the most impoverished areas of Columbus.

Summit is also committed to reach out to the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgender community to let them know that they have a spiritual home where they will be accepted for who they are. We are proud to be a member of the Reconciling Ministries Network, the network of United Methodist who are openly affirming of the GLBT community.
